Farouk Mhamdi

received the engineering degree in statistics and data analysis from the Higher School of Statistics and InformationAnalysis of Tunis (ESSAIT), Tunisia, in 2005, and the Master’s degree in econometrics from the Ecole Polytechnique of Tunis, Tunisia, 2006. He obtained  the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from ENIT in 2017. He is currently an Assistant Professor in statistics at Higher School of Statistics and Information Analysis of Tunis. He is a researcher at the Signals and Smart Systems Laboratory at ENIT. His research interests include applied statistics, data science and time series forecasting and its applications in power systems, especially Tunisian electrical power consumption analysis and forecasts.
